Donate To Charity
Over the years my blog has been on-line i’ve had a various messages asking if I will accept donations. I would much sooner you donate to charity rather than myself as it doesn’t cost me a lot to keep this blog online. If you found one of my blog posts useful and want to say thinks all I ask is that you make a donation to charity if you are able to.
If you are unsure what charity to donate to I think Cancer Research UK and the Motor Neurone Disease Association are two very good causes:
Cancer Research UK – Cancer needs no introduction, is a truly horrible disease we really need to beat. Cancer Research UK launched in 2002 and now funds research in to more than 200 types of cancer.
Motor Neurone Disease Association – Motor Neurone Disease (MND) also known as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive disease that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. MND can affect how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe. There is currently no cure for MND, people suffering with MND will eventually be able to do very little for themselves. Donations to the Motor Neurone Disease Association can be made though Just Giving.
Of course many other great Charities around the word exist, I have listed Cancer Research UK and the Motor Neurone Disease Association as members of my family have lost their lives to the diseases these charities raise money to aid research and support for.
Wikipedia has a good list of charitable foundations.
